Cedar Grove Baptist Church
WMU- Women’s Missionary Union includes all women’s mission groups. It plans Mission programs monthly, as well as promotes the three Missions offerings each year: Janie Chapman State Missions, Annie Armstrong North American Missions and Lottie Moon International Missions.
WMU groups include:
The Morning Prayer Group- they meet at the church monthly for prayer for missionaries, our church, and community.
Mission B.E.E.S.( Be Ever Evangelizing Sisters) & BYW (Baptist Young Women)- both groups meet in the homes of various members monthly for a meal, a missions program, a time of sharing and prayer requests (especially for missionaries with birthdays on that date).
The Mission B.E.E.S. & B.Y.W. also plan and carry out mission projects each month some of which include the ongoing ministry of supporting Operation Care and collecting school supplies to be used by teachers.
